TERRA IS AT THE CITY LIT DEAF DAY – 26 APRIL 2014!

Come and meet us on Saturday 26th April, we will be at Deaf Day 2014 at City Lit in Keeley Street near Holborn station. It is from 10am to 4pm.
Thousands of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing people will go to visit the exhibition stands spread over 5 floors, attend workshops, exchange information, socialise and celebrate deaf issues.
The TERRA Team look forward to seeing you at our stall there where you can ask us about anything – information about interpreting, University and College support, Language Support, English modification and note taking.
You can also talk to us if you are interested in setting up a business. You can ask for advice about finance, how to deal with benefits, which ones you are allowed or not.
Also this year we will have a workshop called ‘TRY YOUR WINGS’. The workshop is designed for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf Blind aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to set up their own business. There will be a 45 minute presentation and more time to ask questions. We do not know what time it is running yet but will announce when we have more information and post on our blog Planet DeaFantastic.
We know parents with children have said they are coming. Deaf Day  will have a nursery / crèche for children so you can drop them off for 1 hour and be free to look around.
If you have something private you want to ask about, you can register in advance  to book an appointment with one of the TERRA Team at Deaf Day by emailing us atinfo@consult-terra.com. One of our team will offer you a slot of 15 minutes one-to-one appointment to discuss your support needs.

We will announce more Deaf Day updates and information in our blog Planet DeaFantastic.
